When you're lost as to how to even get started, it's good to have someone that is patient enough to help you with the simplest parts of designing your place, experienced enough to give you the creative direction to make the best use of space and knowledgeable enough to tell you what works and what doesn't.

Recently divorced, I moved from a 2,500 sq ft house to a small 2 bedroom condo.  I gave Adi a list of the furniture that I had to work with.  She came over to measure and make sure that I was describing things correctly.  After a discussion as to what I was looking for in my new place, we started by discussing how each room was going to be used, and how much time I was going to spend in each.  Then after the basic layout of the furniture, and which couch on which wall, where was the sun, and how many pictures I was going to hang on the walls, we got into the nitty gritty. 

She helped me pick tile and fixtures for the two bathrooms, which I totally gutted.  Then we selected a new floor to replace the shag carpeting.  The most unique thing was taking the shelves and doors off of a closet, and using that as my desk space for my home office. She showed me how to make rooms dual purpose by creatively placing furniture.  Then, when it came to colors for the walls, she incorporated the style of the furniture and rugs to select the colors that blended and made the space seem larger.  Using a single contrasting wall in each room brought a unique feeling to the space, and added warmth to the place.

Everyone that comes to visit is amazed at how comfortable the place is.  I am continually pleased by the approach she used, and the result that I got.  Great work at a very reasonable price.  I now have a new home in which I can entertain my friends, family and relax on my own.  Thanks, Adi.
